71. 2014 in review.

WordPress now sends a cute little report to each of it’s bloggers.  I thought you might be interested in seeing mine! 🙂

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 40,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 15 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

I wish you the best of luck in 2015!

70. Do you wanna build a snowman?

It seems like EVERYONE is obsessed with the F word.  You know which one I’m talking about.  Even little kids are uttering this word nonstop. Yep: FROZEN.  Wait, which F word did you think I was talking about?

I did view the movie once.  Was it cute?  Yes.  I don’t, however, feel any type of urge to watch it over and over and over again.  It’s cool if that’s your thing, but I’d rather drink copious amounts of wine and binge-watch whole seasons of Gilmore Girls on Netflix.  But, hey, that’s just me. 😉

I recently made a trip back “home” to New Jersey, and was asked to make an Olaf for a totally-obsessed-with-Frozen two-year-old for her birthday.  Since I took the train, I had plenty of time to get him ready.

Here is the final result:

I think he turned out to be pretty damn cute, don’t you?

This was my first time crocheting an amigurumi (literal translation from Japanese = crocheted or knitted stuffed toy), and I’m pretty happy with the final product.  I did end up having to do the head twice, but it was an error of my own, not one with the pattern I used.  Speaking of which, if you’re interested in making a little Olaf of your own, here is a link to the pattern I used: http://www.1dogwoof.com/2014/11/olaf-frozen-crochet-pattern.html

I loved this little guy so much, it was hard to “let it go”.  (Ha, see what I did there? Stick around ladies and gentleman. I’m here all night.)

Gabriella
